Our Cases

Esiayomi Adeyemi

Esiayomi was diagnosed with profound hearing loss in both ears following his cleft palate surgery at just 15 months old. He received his cochlear implant at the age of 3 years and 3 months, in 2016.

He turned 12 in March 2025, Esiayomi has been thriving—excelling in his studies and engaging confidently with those around him. His resilience and progress have been truly inspiring.

However, the journey hasn’t been without its challenges. One of the most pressing concerns is the rising cost of essential accessories and, most importantly, the urgent need to upgrade his N5 processor, which is now obsolete, to the current N8.

Your support can make a profound difference—boosting Esiayomi’s hearing confidence and helping him continue on a path toward a brighter, more connected future.

Thank you.

Stephen Nnachi Chima

Stephen was born in November 2, 2003, at Maitama General Hospital, Abuja. He was diagnosed with hearing and speech impairment at King Care Hospital, Abuja, at the age of 2. After several tests and recommendations, he proceeded to India for a cochlear implant surgery in 2009.

Indeed, Stephen enjoyed a normal life and education until the N5 processor became obsolete and now requires an upgrade to the current technology.

He is unable to continue his education due to his hearing loss. He needs a new processor to be able to move forward with his studies.
